Gigaton is Pearl Jam's eleventh studio album and appeared on 27 March 2020, seven years after Lightning Bolt. Josh Evans, who had worked with the band before, produced. The title refers to the unit in which the melting of the polar ice is measured; the sleeve carries 'Ice Waterfall' by photographer Paul Nicklen, meltwater pouring off the Nordaustlandet ice cap in Svalbard. Climate change and political powerlessness run through the album as themes. Opening single 'Dance of the Clairvoyants' surprised with an emphatically electronic, new wave-tinted setup; alongside it stand sturdy rock songs such as 'Superblood Wolfmoon' and 'Quick Escape', and 'River Cross' closes things out quietly.

This edition is a 2-LP, with an etched side and a gatefold sleeve.
