In October 1976 Status Quo played three consecutive nights at the Glasgow Apollo, captured with the Rolling Stones Mobile Studio. Those tapes were the source for the double album Live!, originally released in 1977. This live album carries the second night, 28 October 1976, in full for the first time. The audio comes from rediscovered multitrack tapes, mixed and mastered by Andy Gamble at AVP Productions from the original quarter-inch master tapes and approved by Francis Rossi. It features the classic line-up with Rossi, Rick Parfitt, Alan Lancaster and John Coghlan, in the tight boogie rhythm the band's live reputation rests on.
