Lex Hives is the fifth studio album by Swedish garage rock band The Hives, released in 2012. The band, fronted by singer Pelle Almqvist, produced the album themselves and released it on their own label Disques Hives. After the more experimental The Black and White Album from 2007, the group returned to the straightforward garage rock and punk rock with which they broke through in the early 2000s. 'Go Right Ahead' and 'Wait a Minute' were released as singles. The album contains twelve songs and was recorded in Sweden.
