Sweet Freedom is the sixth studio album by the British rock band Uriah Heep, released in September 1973 on Bronze Records. The record was made at the Chateau d'Herouville in France and shows the band moving toward a more direct hard rock sound. Sweet Freedom reached number 33 on the US Billboard 200 and was certified gold in 1974. The lineup included singer David Byron, keyboardist Ken Hensley and guitarist Mick Box. It is regarded as one of the best-known records from the band's classic period.
