After blue, green, red, white, teal and black, the row of self-titled Weezer albums gained a gold one in 2026. The twentieth studio album was released on August 21, 2026 on Reprise Records and was produced by Kenneth Blume and Klas Åhlund. The singles Shine Again, We Might as Well Be Strangers, featuring Karly Hartzman of Wednesday, and C.E.O. preceded it. The sleeve breaks with the habit of the colour series: for the first time there is no band photo on it, only the logo, a number of symbols and an infinity sign in glossy gold.
