Cruel Country was a 2022 double album by Wilco, released on the band's own dBpm Records. Where the group had previously woven country influences in obliquely, here it embraced the tradition openly, with largely acoustic, understated arrangements built around Jeff Tweedy's voice. Across twenty-one songs, including "Tired of Taking It Out on You" and the title track, the band sounds loose and largely recorded live in the studio.
