Ominous was originally released in October 2010 on Nocturnal Art Productions/Candlelight and is the debut album by The Wretched End, a Norwegian project by guitarist Samoth, known from Emperor and Zyklon, together with singer and guitarist Cosmo. The album was written between 2008 and 2009. Drummer Nils Fjellström played on the recordings. Musically the album combines death metal and thrash with black metal influences, spread across twelve tracks.
