Voor Old Sock, oorspronkelijk verschenen in 2013, koos Eric Clapton vooral nummers die hij zijn leven lang al meezong: van Gershwins "Our Love Is Here to Stay" en Leadbelly's "Goodnight Irene" tot "Still Got the Blues" van Gary Moore. Daartussen staan twee eigen composities, "Gotta Get Over" en "Every Little Thing". Aan het negentiende soloalbum werkten onder anderen Paul McCartney, Steve Winwood, J.J. Cale, Chaka Khan en Taj Mahal mee.
Deze uitgave is een jubileumeditie: een 2-lp op blauw vinyl.
