Sailin' Shoes verscheen oorspronkelijk in 1972 als het tweede studioalbum van Little Feat, de band rond zanger en slidegitarist Lowell George. Het mengt New Orleans-groove, blues en country in nummers als "Easy to Slip", "Cold, Cold, Cold" en de veelbezongen truckerssong "Willin'". Deze deluxe-uitgave breidt het album uit met demo's, alternatieve versies en een liveopname uit het Palladium uit 1971.
Deze uitgave is een 3-lp op zwart vinyl.
