The Motions was een Nederlandse beat-explosiegroep en werd opgericht door Rudy Bennett en Robbie van Leeuwen. Van Leeuwen was ook bekend door zijn rol in Shocking Blue. The Motions waren de eerste Nederbeat-band die succes boekte en zeven albums uitbrachten in hun achtjarige carrière. Het album Electric Baby uit 1969 was de opvolger van het album Impressions Of Wonderful uit 1967. Deze set met 13 nummers bevat o.a. "Freedom", "Wedding Of The Hundred Brides", "Eliza" en "It's Alright".
