RADIOHEAD - Hail To the Thief 2LP

Voor Hail to the Thief, het zesde studioalbum, wilde Radiohead sneller en meer live werken dan op Kid A en Amnesiac: het grootste deel werd in twee weken opgenomen in Ocean Way Studios in Los Angeles, met Nigel Godrich. De gitaren keerden terug naast de elektronica, en elk nummer kreeg een tweede titel tussen haakjes, van 2 + 2 = 5 (The Lukewarm.) tot A Wolf at the Door (It Girl. Rag Doll.). De onrust rond de Irak-oorlog en het jonge vaderschap van Thom Yorke klinken door in de teksten. There There, Go to Sleep en 2 + 2 = 5 verschenen als singles. Het album, oorspronkelijk uit 2003, was het laatste onder het contract met EMI/Parlophone.

Deze uitgave is een 2-lp.
