The Rolling Stones On Air bundelt radio-opnames die de band tussen 1963 en 1965 voor de BBC maakte, waaronder nummers die ze nooit in de studio vastlegden. Je hoort de vroege Stones als rauwe rhythm-and-blues- en bluesband, met covers van Chuck Berry ('Come On', 'Roll Over Beethoven'), Bo Diddley ('Mona') en tijdgenoten uit de rhythm-and-blues, naast eigen werk als '(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction' en 'The Last Time'. Voor deze compilatie zijn de sessies geremasterd, waardoor de energie van de band in hun clubjaren goed hoorbaar is. Deze uitgave is een 2-lp op zwart vinyl.
