Perdida verscheen in februari 2020 en was het tweede album van Stone Temple Pilots met zanger Jeff Gutt. De band koos voor een vrijwel volledig akoestische aanpak, met fluit, altsaxofoon, guitarrón, altviool, cello en oude toetsen naast de akoestische gitaren. Nummers als Fare Thee Well, Three Wishes en de titeltrack draaien om verlies en afscheid. Bassist Robert DeLeo over de opzet: "Most of our songs start acoustically and we felt these would come across in the most genuine way if we kept them that way." Deze uitgave is een lp op zwart vinyl.
