Welcome Home: Live 1992 legde een concert vast dat Toad the Wet Sprocket in 1992 gaf in het Arlington Theatre in Santa Barbara, de thuisstad van de band. De Californische groep stond er op het hoogtepunt van het succes van Fear, het album uit 1991 dat platina behaalde en de hits All I Want en Walk on the Ocean voortbracht. Onder leiding van zanger Glen Phillips speelde de band zijn melodieuze mix van folkrock en alternatieve rock voor eigen publiek. De registratie verscheen oorspronkelijk in 2004 via Columbia.
