A View from the Top of the World is het vijftiende studioalbum van Dream Theater, de progressieve-metalband uit Long Island, New York rond gitarist John Petrucci en toetsenist Jordan Rudess, uitgebracht in 2021. Het album werd opgenomen in de eigen studio DTHQ en telt zeven nummers, van de compacte opener 'The Alien' tot het ruim twintig minuten durende titelstuk waarmee het afsluit. 'The Alien' won de Grammy Award voor Best Metal Performance in 2022. De bezetting met James LaBrie (zang), Petrucci (gitaar), Rudess (keyboards), John Myung (bas) en Mike Mangini (drums) schakelt tussen technische unisono-passages, lange instrumentale secties en melodische refreinen.
