The Lexicon Of Love originally appeared in 1982 as the debut by the British band ABC, released on Neutron Records and produced by Trevor Horn. The record reached number one on the UK Albums Chart and yielded several top 20 singles in 'The Look Of Love', 'Poison Arrow' and 'All Of My Heart'. Robert Christgau gave the album an A-minus, praising Martin Fry's witty, cinematic phrasing. This edition gathers the album for its fortieth anniversary alongside bonus material, demos and live recordings.
