With "Young Turks" and "Baby Jane", Rod Stewart showed in the early eighties that he could work just as well with synthesizers and tight pop production. "Baby Jane" went to number 1 in the UK singles chart in 1983. Greatest Hits Vol. 2, a compilation from Rhino, gathers ten songs from that decade. Up-tempo tracks such as "Passion", "Tonight I'm Yours (Don't Hurt Me)" and "Infatuation" sit alongside the ballads from later in the eighties: "Forever Young", "My Heart Can't Tell Me No" and his version of Tom Waits' "Downtown Train". "Some Guys Have All the Luck" and "Every Beat of My Heart" complete the selection.

This edition is an LP on teal vinyl.
