Mark Ronson and Salaam Remi split the production of Back to Black, and for much of the backing Amy Winehouse brought in the Dap-Kings, Sharon Jones's band, who recorded most of their parts at the Daptone studio in Brooklyn. The album draws on sixties soul and girl-group sounds, with candid lyrics about a broken relationship and addiction. Rehab, You Know I'm No Good, the title track, Tears Dry on Their Own and Love Is a Losing Game were released as singles. It was Winehouse's second and final studio album, originally released in October 2006 on Island Records. Rolling Stone ranked Back to Black at number 33 on The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.
