Heavy riffs, tight grooves and falsetto backing vocals: on AM, Arctic Monkeys slide influences from hip-hop and R&B underneath their rock foundation. Alex Turner wrote nocturnal lyrics about attraction and obsession to go with them, with 'Do I Wanna Know?' and 'R U Mine?' as the best-known examples. The album was produced by James Ford and Ross Orton and recorded in part at the desert studio Rancho De La Luna in Joshua Tree. It appeared in 2013 on Domino. NME called it "absolutely and unarguably the greatest record of their career". This edition is an LP on black vinyl.
