Arctic Monkeys
Arctic Monkeys arrived from Sheffield in 2006 with a debut that became the fastest-selling debut album by a band in British chart history: Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not, winner of the Mercury Prize. Alex Turner, Jamie Cook, Matt Helders and Nick O'Malley then steered each album in a different direction: the breakneck Favourite Worst Nightmare, the Josh Homme co-produced desert record Humbug, the sunlit guitar pop of Suck It and See, the sleek, slow-burning AM with Do I Wanna Know?, and the cinematic lounge turn of Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino and The Car. Their first six albums all reached number 1 in the UK.
This collection brings together Arctic Monkeys on vinyl, LP and CD: the studio albums from the debut to The Car, along with live material and individual titles.
