Black Sabbath
Black Sabbath laid the foundations of heavy metal in the early 1970s. With the crushing title track of their 1970 debut, followed by Paranoid and Master of Reality, guitarist Tony Iommi, bassist Geezer Butler, drummer Bill Ward and singer Ozzy Osbourne gave the genre its dark, downtuned sound. After Ozzy's departure, Ronnie James Dio took over on Heaven and Hell, and the band carried on through the decades in shifting line-ups. In 2013 the classic line-up returned with the number one album 13. On 5 July 2025 the original members played a farewell concert in Birmingham; Ozzy Osbourne died a few weeks later, on 22 July 2025.
This collection brings together Black Sabbath on vinyl and CD: reissues of the classics, compilations and individual titles from across their career.
