Bruce Springsteen

Bruce Springsteen grew up on the New Jersey shore and turned that landscape into the setting for his work. With the E Street Band he broke through in 1975 with Born to Run, after which Darkness on the Edge of Town and The River set the tone for his stories of working people, cars and lives that stall. The bare, home-recorded Nebraska (1982) and the globally successful Born in the U.S.A. (1984) appeared within two years of each other and show how wide his range runs, from whispered folk to stadium rock. He kept alternating after that: acoustic records such as The Ghost of Tom Joad, reunions with the band on The Rising and Letter to You, and side steps like the soul covers album Only the Strong Survive. His concerts with the E Street Band often run three hours or more.

This collection brings together Bruce Springsteen on vinyl, LP and CD: reissues of the studio albums, live and archive releases, compilations and the boxes of previously unreleased material.
