Bente spent about two and a half years on Dwars, her third album. Its fourteen songs move between Dutch-language pop songs and more artistic arrangements with rich instrumentation, and deal with a life that has suddenly shifted into a higher gear. The album opens with Parachute and also includes the earlier singles 3.2.1., Hoogtevrees and Hoe Hou Ik Dit Vast, a duet with BLØF. Karsu, Paskal Jakobsen and Joep Beving are among the other contributors. Dwars follows 2024's Drift and was released on 6 November 2026 through Sony Music.
