Guitar flares, organ chords and plenty of noir: Tough Love is the third studio album by Nessa Barrett, on the Warner Records label. Each of its eleven songs explores a different form of romance, focusing on the darkest and toughest sides of love. The title track sets the tone with a dark stomp and nimble guitar lines, while Dracula adds a hefty dose of gothic drama. Kerrang! wrote that the album "could easily come with a moodboard, filled with black lace, velvet and Polaroid photographs". Too Fast To Live, Too Young To Die was the lead single, followed by Bad Girls Never Die.
