In the Meantime is a solo album by British singer and keyboardist Christine McVie, originally released in 2004. McVie, for many years a singer and songwriter with Fleetwood Mac, made the album after leaving that band in 1998. She wrote and largely recorded it at home in Kent together with her nephew Dan Perfect; 'Friend' was released as a single. The songs combine her characteristic warm pop songwriting with blues and soft rock influences. It was her third and final solo album; McVie rejoined Fleetwood Mac in 2014 and died in 2022.
