Coldplay

Coldplay formed in London in 1996, when the four members met as students, and grew into one of the biggest stadium bands in the world. Their debut Parachutes produced Yellow in 2000, after which A Rush of Blood to the Head and X&Y turned them into an international act. From Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends onwards, Chris Martin, Jonny Buckland, Guy Berryman, and Will Champion worked with producers such as Brian Eno and Max Martin and leaned further into colourful, electronic pop, with Mylo Xyloto, Ghost Stories, and Music of the Spheres along the way. Moon Music arrived in 2024 as the first album pressed on EcoRecord, vinyl made from recycled plastic bottles.
