Crisco is Miranda Lambert's tenth studio album, produced by Lambert together with Jesse Frasure. She wrote its twelve songs with longtime collaborators including Natalie Hemby, Ashley Monroe, Waylon Payne, Aaron Raitiere and Josh Osborne, and the album moves between honky-tonk heartbreak and songs made for dancing. Opener "Snakeskin Boots", the title track and "Cowgirl Curtsy" sit alongside "Till The Going's Gone" and "Whiskey Business". The duet "A Song To Sing" with Chris Stapleton, their first recorded collaboration, grew out of a groove with a nod to 1970s disco and was nominated for two Grammys, including Best Country Song.
