Allemansplein, originally from 2014, opens with Alles komt goed, the soul stomper De Dijk recorded with Thomas Acda for the film Wonderbroeders and released as the first single. Its fourteen songs deal with city life, love and impermanence, from Mensen zijn mensen and Zelfs de regen to the title track Allemansplein (wat het nooit was). More than thirty years after forming, the band was still playing Dutch-language soul and rhythm and blues with a horn section. The album reached number one on the Dutch Album Top 100 and stayed on the chart for twenty-one weeks. This edition is an LP.
