X is the most openly pop-leaning record in Def Leppard's catalogue: shorter songs, plenty of acoustic guitar and choruses built for radio. The band brought in outside writers including Marti Frederiksen and Andreas Carlsson, and worked again with producer Pete Woodroffe. Now and Long Long Way To Go were released as singles. The eighth studio album originally dates from 2002 and only reached vinyl with a later reissue series. This edition is an LP on black vinyl.
