Falling into Infinity Demos, 1996-1997 gathers the demo recordings from the run-up to Falling into Infinity, the studio album Dream Theater released in 1997. The sessions present tracks such as 'Lines in the Sand', 'Peruvian Skies' and 'Trial of Tears' in early form, alongside material that did not make the final album, including 'Raise the Knife' and 'Where Are You Now?'. The collection reached vinyl for the first time through the Lost Not Forgotten Archives.
