"Ocean Eyes" was the song that first drew attention to Billie Eilish. Her brother Finneas wrote it for his own band and passed it on to her; in November 2015 her recording appeared on SoundCloud, where it was quickly picked up. The song then ended up on her debut EP Don't Smile at Me and grew into one of her best-known ballads, carried by thin synths, a single guitar line and soft vocals. In 2025 it received a single release of its own. This edition is a single-sided 7-inch single on translucent turquoise vinyl, with an etching on the B-side.
