For the third Harry Potter film John Williams shifted the colour of the music towards early music: recorders, lute-like plucked instruments, and harpsichord, played in part by The Dufay Collective. Double Trouble is the best known example, a choral piece set to text from Shakespeare's Macbeth. The score also carries A Window to the Past, Buckbeak's Flight, and Aunt Marge's Waltz. Recording took place in March 2004 at Abbey Road Studios, with choral work by London Voices and the London Oratory School Schola. It was Williams' final Harry Potter score; the music originally appeared in 2004 and received an Academy Award nomination.
