On 2 April 1977 the Ramones played CBGB in New York, the club where the band had started out in 1974. The show was captured with a single stereo microphone in the room, so the crowd and the between-song announcements come through as clearly as the nineteen songs that run one into the next. The material sits between Leave Home and Rocket to Russia, with "Teenage Lobotomy" and "Sheena Is a Punk Rocker" already in the set. The recording reached vinyl for the first time in 2025, as a Record Store Day Black Friday release limited to 6,000 copies. This edition is an LP on translucent red vinyl.
