Garbage
Garbage formed in Madison, Wisconsin in 1993 around producer and drummer Butch Vig, fresh from recording Nirvana's Nevermind, together with Duke Erikson and Steve Marker. Scottish singer Shirley Manson completed the line-up and gave the band its face. The debut Garbage (1995) and Version 2.0 (1998) layered guitar rock, samples, loops and studio effects, selling millions of copies and picking up Grammy nominations. Then came beautifulgarbage, Bleed Like Me, a hiatus and a label of their own, followed by the later albums No Gods No Masters (2021) and Let All That We Imagine Be the Light (2025), with lyrics that take on politics and the mood of the times more directly.
This collection brings together Garbage on vinyl, LP and CD: reissues of the classic albums, the later work, compilations and one-off Record Store Day releases.
