Guns N' Roses

Guns N' Roses formed in Los Angeles in 1985 and broke through two years later with Appetite for Destruction, a raw, bluesy hard rock album carrying Welcome to the Jungle, Paradise City and Sweet Child o' Mine. The band paired the guitars of Slash and Izzy Stradlin with the sharp, high voice of Axl Rose. In 1991 Use Your Illusion I and II arrived on the same day, wider in scope and built around longer pieces such as November Rain and Estranged. Years of line-up changes followed, along with the long-delayed Chinese Democracy (2008). Since Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan started playing together again in 2016, the band has returned to stadiums and released new individual songs.
