This EP accompanies the reissue of the rarities collection Noise Floor. Bright Eyes re-recorded songs including "The Vanishing Act", "Blue Angels Air Show" and "Motion Sickness", and put "I Won't Ever Be Happy Again" on the EP twice: in English and as the Spanish-language "Nunca Seré Feliz Otra Vez". The sessions took place at ARC Studios in Omaha and the EP came out in June 2023 on Dead Oceans.
