ZAPPAtite - Frank Zappa's Tastiest Tracks is a career-spanning compilation, originally released in 2016 via Zappa Records/UMe and curated by Ahmet Zappa and Zappa vaultmeister Joe Travers. Its eighteen tracks run from Zappa's psychedelic beginnings with The Mothers of Invention through his jazz-rock explorations, orchestral excursions and satirical side. The compilation is laid out like a menu, divided into courses such as Appetizers, Entrées and Desserts; that nod to Zappa's fascination with food also returns in the artwork, with Zappa in a diner on the cover and a tracklist designed as a menu. This edition is a 2-LP on black vinyl.
