The Wish, released in 1993, was the seventh studio album by the American hard rock band Legs Diamond, formed in Los Angeles in 1975. The group was sometimes described as an American answer to Deep Purple, with melodic, guitar-driven hard rock. On this record the band opted for a heavier sound spanning a wide range of styles within the genre. Songs such as the title track and 'In My Dreams' took on a grand, epic feel. The album was released mainly in the United Kingdom and Europe.
