Songs About Jane is the debut album by Maroon 5, released on 25 June 2002. It produced the singles Harder to Breathe, This Love and She Will Be Loved. The lyrics are largely inspired by singer Adam Levine's relationship with his ex-girlfriend Jane, after whom the album is named. The music blends pop, rock and funk influences. The single This Love won a Grammy Award for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals. The album sold more than ten million copies worldwide.
