Reason was Melanie C's second solo album and originally came out in 2003. Known as Sporty Spice of the Spice Girls, she moved away from the more rock-oriented sound of 1999's Northern Star towards a more accessible pop and pop-rock sound. Here It Comes Again and On the Horizon were singles from the album, as was the double A-side Melt / Yeh Yeh Yeh. Reason reached the top 5 of the UK Albums Chart. Thematically, the album dealt with self-confidence, relationships and fame.
