Bad Magic became the last studio album made with Lemmy Kilmister. He died four months after its release, and Phil Campbell and Mikkey Dee stated that Motörhead was over after forty years. Cameron Webb produced the sessions in Los Angeles and had the band play much of the material together rather than part by part, which shows in short, fast tracks such as Victory Or Die, Electricity and Evil Eye. Against that stands Till The End, where Lemmy takes stock at a slow pace. Brian May plays the guitar solo on The Devil, and the album closes with a cover of The Rolling Stones' Sympathy For The Devil, recorded at the request of wrestler Triple H. The album was originally released in 2015 and went to number 1 in Germany, Austria and Finland.
