Muse
Muse formed in 1994 in the English seaside town of Teignmouth, around singer and pianist Matt Bellamy, bassist Chris Wolstenholme and drummer Dominic Howard. What began on Showbiz and Origin of Symmetry as guitar rock with falsetto vocals and classically trained piano grew, through Absolution and Black Holes and Revelations, into arena music with strings, choirs and synthesizers. The band kept moving after that: dubstep and Olympic pathos on The 2nd Law, a concept album about drone warfare on Drones, eighties synths on Simulation Theory and the science fiction of The Wow! Signal. Conspiracy, power and outer space keep returning in the lyrics.
This collection brings together Muse on vinyl, LP and CD: studio albums and reissues, anniversary editions and box sets, plus 12-inch singles from their early years.
