Nas
Nas debuted in 1994 with Illmatic, ten tracks about life in the Queensbridge projects in New York, produced by DJ Premier, Large Professor, Pete Rock, Q-Tip, and L.E.S. He was twenty years old, and the album immediately set a benchmark for East Coast hip-hop. What followed ran from commercial successes such as It Was Written and Stillmatic to personal albums such as God's Son and the diss exchange with Jay-Z around 2001. From 2020 he made six consecutive albums with producer Hit-Boy, the King's Disease trilogy and the Magic series; the first King's Disease won him a Grammy for Best Rap Album in 2021. December 2025 brought Light-Years, his first full album with DJ Premier.
This collection brings together Nas on vinyl, LP and CD: reissues of the classics, live and rarities releases, and the later albums with Hit-Boy.
