Silver & Gold originally dates from 2000 and follows the quiet, acoustic line of Harvest and Harvest Moon. Neil Young wrote most of the songs in the late 1990s; by his own account he had been carrying the title track around with him for some ten years. The record sounds relaxed and warm, with simple folk arrangements. In Canada the album was nominated for a Juno Award. This release is an LP on black vinyl.
