Queen

Since the early 1970s Queen have been one of the best-loved rock bands in the world. The British band around singer Freddie Mercury, guitarist Brian May, drummer Roger Taylor and bassist John Deacon combined hard rock with theatrical choirs, multi-part harmonies and excursions into opera, disco and pop. From the groundbreaking 'Bohemian Rhapsody' and the album A Night at the Opera to stadium anthems like 'We Will Rock You' and 'We Are the Champions', the band became a phenomenon that still reaches new generations after Mercury's death in 1991.
