Seventh Star was originally released in 1986 and issued under the name 'Black Sabbath featuring Tony Iommi'. It was conceived as a solo project by guitarist Tony Iommi, and sounds more melodic and blues-rock oriented than classic Sabbath. Glenn Hughes, former vocalist of Deep Purple, handled lead vocals on tracks such as 'In for the Kill', 'No Stranger to Love' and 'Heart Like a Wheel'.
This edition was issued as a 40th-anniversary Record Store Day pressing on black vinyl.
