Power Up, originally released in 2020, reunited the Black Ice line-up: Brian Johnson returned on vocals, Phil Rudd behind the drum kit and Cliff Williams on bass, with Angus and Stevie Young on guitar. The album is dedicated to Malcolm Young, co-founder and driving force of the band, who died in 2017; part of the riffs grew out of ideas he and Angus had worked on together. Producer Brendan O'Brien, who had also handled Black Ice and Rock Or Bust, kept the sound raw and direct. With the single 'Shot In The Dark' as a flying start, the album reached number 1 in many countries, including the US Billboard 200. It is AC/DC's seventeenth studio album.
