Songs from the Sparkle Lounge largely came together on the road: Def Leppard wrote and recorded in the backstage room they nicknamed the Sparkle Lounge while touring, which gave the songs a more direct, less worked-over sound than usual. Country singer Tim McGraw guests on Nine Lives, which grew out of a joint tour. Go, C'mon C'mon, Hallucinate and Only the Good Die Young also feature. The tenth studio album originally dates from 2008. This edition is an LP.
