The Eagles' self-titled debut originally came out in 1972, recorded at Olympic Studios in London with Glyn Johns at the desk. Johns stacked the four voices of Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Bernie Leadon and Randy Meisner tightly together and made the harmony singing the band's calling card straight away. Take It Easy, written by Frey with Jackson Browne, opens the album and became the first single; Witchy Woman and Peaceful Easy Feeling followed. With Leadon's banjo and pedal steel, the album still sits close to the bluegrass and country roots the band came from. This edition is a 180 gram LP.
