On their second album The Flaming Lips pushed the garage punk of the debut aside in favour of longer, woollier psychedelia. Oh My Gawd!!!...The Flaming Lips originally appeared in 1987 and opens with the nine-minute One Million Billionth Of A Millisecond On A Sunday Morning. Closing track Love Yer Brain starts as a piano ballad and ends in destruction. Wayne Coyne, Michael Ivins and drummer Richard English stretched the songs into small journeys, with plenty of reverb and space in the mix. This edition is an LP.
